The D.A. Vinci Firefly model is a high-quality Semi-Hollow body guitar with an original body and headstock shape, and is our flagship Semi model.
The Firefly relies on its robust but elegant design, and its Semi-Hollow body features a center block ideal for dirty rock sounds and jazzy cleans without overwhelming feedback that usually accompanies hollowbody instruments.
The core design features either a swamp ash or mahogany body, with either a maple or ash (quilted or flamed) top. The neck comes in different laminates of flamed ash, flamed maple, purple heart, wenge or walnut.
This tonewood combination provides a rich resonance and mellow clean sounds, very articulate in the mid and low range. Paired with our handwound D.A. Vinci P90 pickups that are specificaly designed and made for our Semi-hollow body series, they accentuate and enhance its natural sonic footprint.
The D.A. Vinci Firefly comes in either a high-gloss or matte polyurethane finish that is extremly durable, doesn’t yellow over time and will protect your guitar for years to come.
This model is available for custom orders as well, and you can choose your own tonewoods to fit your style of guitar and playing, as well as the color, and can be ordered with a different combination of pickups to suit your style.

D.A. Vinci Floating Bridge
The floating bridge featured in our Semi-hollow body guitars and soon in our full hollowbody models is crafted in house, and is made specifically for each instrument. We do not offer these bridges as separate items for sale.
Our bridges are machined from solid blocks of aluminium, brass or bronze, and then finished in a number of different finishes such as gold plated, black, nickel, chrome and anodized Al.
Machining the bridge from a solid piece of aluminium, brass or bronze ensures its tensile strength is optimal and can endure even the heaviest gauges of strings and their pressure. It also contributes to the sound resonance and transferring the vibration of the strings throughout the body and neck.
Our floating bridge design features either a wood or aluminium tailpiece, and a wood floating support.
